Week 2 of Colourful Smoothie Challenge
We are already at WEEK 2 of the Colourful Smoothie Challenge! I’ve been so blown away by all of you who have joined! Some of you have written me and said that your kids, husbands (and even a Grandma!), and friends are joining in! It’s so awesome, and even though a lot of people aren’t entering the contest part…it gives my heart warm fuzzies knowing that others are getting healthier in the process! One note I got said that as she shared her smoothie, her friend commented, “It doesn’t even taste ‘healthy’!”
I think that’s what eating should be like…enjoying healthy food without sacrificing taste. Life is far too short to shove carrots and kale down our throats when we hate it. There’s clever ways (and different foods) to get the nutrition our body needs. Inspiring health in a fun (& yummy) way, that’s what makes me love blogging so much.
Here’s your CHALLENGE for week 2!
If you watched the video, you know my goals for this week…so tell me yours in the comments! Remember, if you do any of the challenges during this month (even if it’s just one!), there will be a prize you will be eligible for (that I haven’t posted about yet!).
If you’re looking for some more smoothie recipes, I (and a few blog friends) put together this list of 15 Low-Sugar Smoothies together a while ago!
If you don’t follow me on Instagram yet, you might want to because I’ve been posting my #colourfulsmoothies there.
Who wouldn’t want this?! Seriously. This is why I’m obsessed with smoothies.
Also, I have to share this idea with you! I was out for lunch at some friends yesterday and they served this fruit parfait for dessert.
Cute right?! The topping is a mixture of yogurt and whipping cream (no sugar!). I can’t wait to recreate this recipe sometime! Such a perfectly healthy dessert.
Glass straw by Strawesome and Disney Mason Jar by GothicGlitter.
Much love and cheers to a new week! Comment below with your goals for this week!

Woo hoo! I love this week’s challenge because…I’ve been meaning to de-clutter my pantry/dry sink area FOREVER!! I took the first step about a week ago and bought awesome and pretty organizer baskets and various sized jars. Stay tuned for de-cluttered pics! BTW – smoothie challenge is the best.
Margaret – Awesome! Look forward to seeing pics! <3
Second try at this post! Week 2 challenge comes along at the BEST time. I’ve decided to de-clutter my pantry/dry sink storage area. Not a small feat. Two weeks ago I purchased pretty storage baskets and assorted glass jars to accomplish this task but had yet to make the leap. Now I have every good reason to just DO IT! Pics forthcoming. BTW – love the smoothie challenge :)
My goal this week is to go through my closet and get rid of all the stuff I never wear! Having so many babies and changing sizes so often I have accumulated a ton of stuff and it’s time to get rid of some!!
Thanks for the challenge Charissa!
Jordan – Awesome! I’m so looking forward to doing that too!
This is perfect timing for me! My younger brother came over this morning to help me work on some projects. We got a lot done, but my goal for the week is to complete the overhaul of my spare rooms…which is where the “spare” everything has ended up lately. Thanks for the inspiration to keep de-cluttering, Charissa! :)
I de-cluttered my closet! I got rid of all of the clothes that no longer fit and also books that I no longer read. It was so rewarding to be able to donate them to my community and also free myself from unhelpful novels or clothes that remind me of my smaller figure. :) Thanks for this challenge. I enjoyed doing it tonight! It took a bit, but my closet has never been so organized or empty!
My goals for this week are writing 10k words the book I’m writing, staying hydrated, and writing a blog post!
Rachel – That sounds awesome! Happy book writing – that sounds like the best summer project!
How fun! I love a good smoothie. My goals for this week are to get a strength training workout in at least three times, get ahead on my blogging, and read a good book! Have a great day!
Jenna – fabulous goals! What book is on your list?
I originally planned on just getting the clutter off of all the desk and dressers and started earlier in the week but got sidetracked and got rid of over 9000 emails and put what I needed in folders. I always thought it was strange when friends had nothing in there inbox. I still need to work on the desks.
Pantry clean-up success. One part down, one to go. Posting pics to Twitter!! Thank you for this challenge!!!
Thanks for this challenge! It’s just the push I needed to FINALLY clean my room and unpack from school. Every morning for the last month I’ve told myself I’ll work on putting everything away, but this week I’ll actually take action :)
