Healthy Halloween Goodies
Happy Halloween friends! Growing up, halloween wasn’t something we really celebrated by trick or treating…but we still made a lot of treats! It was a lot of fun because together we’d make caramel apples, play games, and watch a movie together. It was always a special family time…
Today I just compiled some of my favourite treats that are fabulous for halloween…and they’re good for you! Please note, these are not all low carb or low sugar like my usual recipes, but they are still falling under the category of “healthy treats”.
So you want caramel apples? Here’s the way to have them without any added sugar and they are AMAZING! Instead of doing our normal family tradition of unhealthy caramel apples, we’ve switched to making this Caramel Apple Dip instead. This vegan recipe is sweetened with dates, but you’d never know it!
Maybe you are planning on indulging in some treats (and why not?! everything in moderation…), well…then you might want to drink this Beetiful Blood Juice first. It’ll get all those important vitamins and minerals in and help your body detoxify from everything “bad” later.
There’s always Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge – one of my favourites for getting healthy fats in, as well as dessert!
These deluctable Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake Bites are from my friend Kelly and they are amazing! It’d be a fantastic thing to serve if you’re having a party tonight!
If movie night is on the schedule this Sticky Date Popcorn is an amazing substitute for caramel popcorn and kids love it!
…Then there’s this. I don’t mind telling you that I’m dangerously contemplating these Vegan Nut-Free Poor Man’s Toffee for our movie night this evening. It’s ridiculously addicting and amazing! Don’t take my word for it though…you’ve got to try this!
Hope you have a happy and healthy halloween!
P.S. Have you entered my peanut butter giveaway yet?

Charissa these all look so great! I’ve got to try that caramel apple dip!
Yum – those cheesecake bites look delicious! So many good ideas.
I love your low carb “eyeball” macaroons! I’m such a fan of macaroons.
When I was a kid we used to get people coming round our doors selling macaroon bars, your recipe took me right back there, but they were probably full of sugar. I like how yours use Stevia. Definitely a much more healthier version. :-)
That sticky popcorn is so happening in this household! Yummmmy! Thank you for sharing!:)
You had me at vegan fudge and vegan toffee! Omg these both look amazing and I love that they’re dairy free!
I’d like to eat a whole bunch of eyeballs this Halloween!
Oooh love the blood beet juice and those eyeballs look pretty tasty too ;)
yum yuum yuuuuuuuuum. Can I trick or treat for these? I don’t even know where to start!
Goodness, these all look so amazing! <3 I [sadly] didn't get to celebrate Halloween this year because I was working a 15-hour shift, but I may celebrate it late just to have an excuse to try these delicious recipes out! *-*
