Easter Recipe Roundup
This is a different Easter for my family. While we normally have a houseful of family, lots of games, and the traditional Easter dinner…but this year most of my family at home caught the flu. So plans were canceled…
I’m okay with it though, school has been pretty busy…so I’m cool with just chilling for the weekend and getting caught up on sleep.
However, just because we’re not having the big Easter dinner on Sunday doesn’t mean I won’t be making something festive. Here’s some of my favourite Spring/Easter recipes from my recipe collection:
Carrot Cake Protein Shake – the perfect way to start Easter morning!
Can you say yummy?!
Before I end this post, I just wanted to say a little bit of what Easter means to me…
It’s a special time…a special reminder…
To think that Jesus would be hung on the cross, after being tortured and beaten…with your name on His parched lips. His love for us was His motivation to go through all He did. Through all the pain, He was thinking of us…before His last breath, he last thought was us.
It’s SO incredible…and what’s just as amazing is the fact that our Hero couldn’t stay dead! Death was nothing to one who created life. Because of Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, we can have LIFE! I’m so in awe of God’s love…
“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” -Isaiah 53:4-5
May it be a joyful and Christ-filled Easter! Hugs!

Amen to that! Easter is the best holiday ever because of our best Hero rising from the dead! Because of Him, our lives are transformed!
