Peach Coconut Smoothie
This morning I wanted something different than my usual “toss in a banana and almond milk” type smoothie. I wanted a flavour that combined two of my favourite fruits. I was surprised how well the coconut flavour matched the sweet, smoothness of the peach.
It’s such a quick breakfast to throw together when you’re on the go. You can toss in some protein powder if you want more “holding power” or add some chia seeds. Next time I make this, that’s probably what I’ll do.
Peach Coconut Smoothie
- ½ cup light coconut milk
- ½ banana, frozen
- 2 packets Truvia*
- ¾ peach, frozen
*Use honey, stevia, or agave in replacement
Blend it up and there you have it. Garnish with coconut shavings and guzzle up!

Today: I’m off to go watch an ice hockey tournament for the day…it’s like a province against province type of deal, so it should be fun. I really love hockey and can’t wait to play again, but first I need to set aside some cash to buy some equipment and guy’s hockey skates. As much as I love doing some “for fun” figure skating, I’m totally okay to put that aside to play hockey better.
Do you skate? Have you ever played hockey?
