Peaches N’ Cream Protein Oatmeal
You know me, always trying to cram extra protein into my diet. I did a new thing the other day and added protein powder to my oatmeal. It turned into the best thing ever.
You know those little packages of oatmeal you can buy (the kind you have to eat 6 of before you feel full). My favourite kind was the peaches and cream flavour. That being so, I decided to make a high-protein peaches and cream oatmeal for my lunch. Hello yummy.
But then, peaches are one of my favourite fruits. They make everything delicious.
I amped up my 1/3 cup of quick oats protein count from 4g to over 27g! Also, my oatmeal tasted amazing. The vanilla protein powder I used made my oats so creamy I used hardly any milk! Serves 1.
Peaches N’ Cream Protein Oatmeal
- 1/3 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 scoop vanilla protein*
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 peach, chopped
- Cinnamon, to taste
- Almond milk
*I used FitMixer vanilla protein
Cook the quick oats, egg whites, and water on medium heat until completely cooked (around 3-5 minutes). You will have to stir constantly to keep the egg whites from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.
Once cooked, add protein and almond milk and heat until desired temperature.
Top with chopped peach, cinnamon and almond milk.
Look at that creaminess! Mmmmm…
This is a great recipe for all those chilly fall mornings coming soon! It’s got your carbs, protein, healthy fat, fibre, and a fruit – the perfect meal!
What is your favourite fruit? Have you tried protein in your oatmeal?

I love this! I used to love the peaches and cream packet of oatmeal too! I haven’t had it in forever since I realized how unhealthy those little packets actually are but this is a great reason to bring it back! In healthier form of course!
Sounds delicious! I’m always on the lookout for new oatmeal recipes. Adding the protein powder is a trick I will use tomorrow. Looking forward to trying this combination.
I love peaches in my oatmeal. They make it so much better. And beautiful, too! :-)
This is perfect. I have never been able to perfect the “adding protein powder” to oatmeal mess. I shall try this in the morning. :)
Are you part of my Pinterest community Oatmeal Board? Lets pin this, shall we? mmm… and I have the perfect homegrown peaches to use. ;)
uhoh you make me WISH I PINNED!!!
peaches and cream is my absolute favorite combo for oatmeal!
Looks amazing! Mmm! Pinned!
I’ve recently tried protein powder in my oats. Love it! Keeps me satisfied for hours and hours. And peaches in oats – love it!
I’m slowly growing to like peaches! Might have to keep this in mind, thanks :)
My favorite fruit is probably…. honeydew :) So sweet!
peaches and cream…yum! Who doesn’t love oatmeal, especially this combo?
Looks great! Pinning for future use. :)
IN LOVE with the idea of this. I am so excited to try this in the mornings. I love the strawberries and cream instant oatmeal too. :)
Oh, yum! I could eat that right now for lunch! I’ve been adding protein powder to oats lately too, I think it works well!
I can’t remember the last time I had oatmeal and didn’t add protein. I totally understand. Love the fresh peach addition, too <3
That looks amazing! Thanks for the recipe! Pinning now!
I can’t believe I’m seeing this. I had a crappy frozen breakfast sandwich this morning and this looks ten times more delicious! I seriously need to get all of my cookware delivered now. Moving in sucks when all you have to eat is frozen meals haha.
Sounds delicious! Instead of protein powder (I don’t have any around) I might use full coconut milk in place of the powder and the almond milk? My last peach of the season is in the fridge!
I’ve tried protein powder in oatmeal in the past but haven’t been successful. Yours looks delicious! So sad the peach season is over :(
It isn’t showing up for me!! Where is the recipe!! It looks good though and I’ve got a peach in my fridge that needs using…
Hannah – That’s odd – hmmm, I’d try using a different server or reloading the page. I’m looking at it right now. If that doesn’t work, shoot me an email
and I’ll email it to you.
Love this recipe! Will be linking back to this in my upcoming post :)
