Winter Wonderland
Today I thought I’d show you a little of the paradise I live in. I guess you could call me a country girl. The energy of the city attracts me, but I love the peaceful life of living in the country; away from the constant lights and busy-ness.
I like the beauty of wintertime…when the snow blankets everything. Sometimes I tend to whine when someone makes a path in the snow. ”No, when you step in the snow, it wrecks it! No walking allowed.” But then, I become a hypocrite when I want to go for a walk in the winter splendor. I love the way the sun reflects off the snow…especially when it’s setting.
We have had a ton of snow this winter, which has been so fun. I still have yet to snowshoe in the drifts, but I have gone sledding. A friend of mine and I decided to relive childhood memories and brave the hill…as it turns out, the snow was too sticky that day, so we just sat in our sleds stuck halfway down the hill and laughed.
When I was young, I always used to feel sorry for our cats when it was so cold. My Dad would constantly remind me that they were nice and warm in their fur coats. It comforted me. I never thought I was a cat person, but I think I must be. They have such funny characteristics; especially with the airs they put on, which amuses me…plus, they’re so photogenic.
So there’s a little piece of this girl’s life…and although I live in the country, I’m pretty sure you will not catch me saying ya’ll.
Are you a country person or a city person?

The photos are amazing! :)
I like both – the advantages of living in the big city & the peace of having a summer house in the country :)
