I know that kale chips are now old news in the recipe world, but crazily, I haven’t done a post about it…and I’ve been making these “chips” for five years. Kale chips are perfect for when you get the mindless “munchies” and don’t want to break the calorie bank. It’s a great opportunity to STUFF yourself with Continue reading »

I’m always looking for ways to eat my beloved spirulina, and while I have some creative ideas brewing in my brain, I always revert back to spirulina smoothies.
This one I made a few days ago and it is my newest smoothie obsession. Its almost like one of those creamy Starbuck frappas – but of course, I made Continue reading »

That aside, here’s Lucas, to share his magic Continue reading »

I think I’ve stumbled on something amazing. Really, I’m kind of surprised that I haven’t seen this in stores yet, unless I’m an oblivious grocery shopper.
These are protein fruit rollups…or, fruit leather, that are loaded with protein and high in a fresh, fruity flavour Continue reading »

Several months ago I started reading a book called “Trim Healthy Mama”. I was very impressed with their philosophy of food, wellness, and weight loss…it was extremely balanced, yet; refreshingly different than the other health/wellness books I’ve read in the past. Their viewpoints were similar to Continue reading »
